Stone Fruit with Maple Cream Cheese and Almond Tartines
Ingredients
- 1 container (8 ounces) whipped cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon grated orange peel
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, plus more for drizzling
- 2 homegrown peaches, pitted and thinly sliced
- 2 homegrown plums, pitted and thinly sliced
- 4 slices toasted or grilled artisan bread
- ¼ cup slivered almonds, toasted
- 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh mint
Directions
In medium bowl, combine cream cheese, orange peel, and the 1 tablespoon syrup until well mixed.
Divide mixture among bread slices, spreading to edges. Top with sliced peaches and plums, almonds, mint, and drizzle of syrup.
