This reflects the Dierberg family’s long-held belief in giving back to friends and neighbors in our communities. Through contributions and partnerships, Dierbergs makes serving the community as much a priority as serving our customers.

Our Giving Priorities
Hunger Relief
Ensuring those at risk of hunger have access to healthy food is our highest priority. We support food banks, run customer donation campaigns, donate millions of pounds of food annually, and provide volunteers to pack donated food during the holidays.
Children's Education
Children’s education is one of our top giving priorities. We fulfill this through programs with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of the Greater St. Louis area as well as by providing Lindenwood scholarships to eligible Associates annually.
Healthy Living
Helping those at risk for hunger and supporting healthy living go hand in hand. We support our healthy living initiative through our Dierbergs-sponsored kitchen at COCA and our partnerships with St. Luke’s and Missouri Baptist.
Disease Prevention
Dierbergs supports organizations through increasing awareness, programming, and funding of research. We understand this is a growing issue, and we support as many different types of disease prevention organizations in our community as possible.
Assistance to Those Less Fortunate
We support organizations that make our community a better place for everyone, including Wings of Hope, which helps those in need, as well as the Joshua Chamberlain Society and Honor Flight Missouri, which honor and assist those who served our country.
Stray Animal Welfare
Dierbergs promotes support of stray dogs and cats through register campaigns, where customers can donate to Stray Rescue (St. Louis) and Dogwood Animal Shelter (Osage Beach). We also partner with Anheuser-Busch and Milkbone to generate additional funds.
Products That Give Back
Bye to Bags
Dierbergs is proud of our partnership with the St. Louis Zoo. In addition to encouraging customers to use reusable bags, for every custom-designed Dierbergs reusable Zoo bag sold at our stores, we donate a portion of the proceeds back to the Zoo.

Straws largely contribute to the growing environmental issues in the world. At Dierbergs, we sell Save One Straw reusable silicone straws. Save one Straw is a St. Louis-based company that uses only reusable or recyclable packaging materials as well.

These gorgeous bracelets, available at Dierbergs, support 501c3 organizations through their sales. Each color in the collection represents a distinct cause, and with every sale, Chavez donates 25% of the profits to a corresponding charity.
